| Hello! Welcome to TNJ's Rabbitry. We are Tina Neel and Jessica Egan. Together we raise Mini Lops in a variety of colors including chin (black and chocolate), chestnut, black, and steel in both broken and solid (in addition to a few other colors here and there). Tina keeps most of the breeding stock at her house and currently has about 12 holes. Tina began breeding rabbits in 1999 while she was a senior in highschool. She bred and showed rabbits for 4 years until she sadly had to sell out in order to focus showing her Border Collies. At that time, one of Tina's biggest accomplishments was when she won BOB with her homebred rabbit (whom later granded). Tina knew that one day she would return to rabbits, and when Jessica called her and told her she had a buck out of Tina's old lines, Tina jumped at the chance to get back in. In the past, Tina raised many breeds including: Holland Lops, Netherland Dwarfs, Havanas, and meat breeds but Mini Lops have always held a place in her heart. Jessica has been in the rabbit habit since the end of 2002. She currently operates All Ears Rabbitry with her husband, Jason and niece, KayLynn. When Tina had sold out before, Jessica had purchased most of her stock. Due to a job loss, Jessica was forced to sell out of Mini Lops with a vow that she would get back into them in the future. After the passing of her good friend, long time Mini Lop breeder Joni Leak, Jessica jumped at the chance of adding Mini Lops and keeping Joni's lines alive. How did we become a co-op? We both wanted to breed and show Mini Lops but had limited space for them. Apart we would be lucky to have 10 holes each. Together, we have 20 and may eventually be able to expand a bit more. Hop on in, take a look around, and check back often as we grow and become more established! |
